It wsa stored in its box since the lady who collected these (my best friend's mom) ran out of display space many years ago. She collected for about 50 years. It will come packed like the factory packed it, in its well padded factory box and then that bxo will be placed inside another box. The certificate, in two languages - german and english - is included. Hummels were amde by goebel in bavaria, germany. The goebel company dates to 1871 and is known for its amazing workmanship. All hummels are being discontinued this year, according to the hummelmania yahoo group. The factory box is 15 1/8 x 12 ¾ x 11.5 inches. hTe outer box will be larger, making this a large package.
